I have 10 beauties goin on the side of my house in my garden, my neighbors house is about 35 ft away(pic doesn't show depth well) on the left..my corn is hiding them well and I plan on bending them over into my tomatoes and corn but the smell has me worried...I planned on putting like 10 to 15 different herbs around to mask it...any suggestions... here's a pic to show the situation.. I will also take bending advice...thanks folks

Theres not really much you can do about the smell without creating some other smell to mask it. Your grow still looks pretty stealthy, I would fim them to keep them short and train them just like you said.

There are breeds that smell more pungent than others. Next time, try and find one. Your grow looks good.

thanks brotha...what is fim? any suggestions on the bending...string? that weird gardner's green strapping shit? or what? I hope my crazy herbs will cover the smell of my "crazy" herb..... any help is greatly appreciated...thanks folks....

I looked up fim...so nevermind on that question...... where should I top them? how far down? like a couple of inches or just a little? heres a pic of the tops... thanks to all

make sure you top them a couple of nodes down and keep topping them so that you can keep them lower than the corn. mj likes to get tall so if you do not monitor and regulate height it will outgrow the corn and tomatoes and will be completely obvious that your growing dope. try to get this grow out of the way and go indoors. it is a hell of a lot easy to keep stelth, which equals less risk.
Everything looks great keep up the good work and cut the tops off immidiately a few nodes down. this will keep them nice and bushy but not as tall.

for masking smells go with sweet basil, rosemary, lavender or gardenias. gardenias have a ton of blooms at once and they are very pungent.

for bending, get some bamboo stakes and put them in the ground around the ladies. then use string, the green plastic stuff or rope to bend them down and tie them to the bamboo...you have to tie a good knot for it to hold on the stake. or you can put small nails or screws in the stake to tie off to.

also, don't worry if the stems bend completely as long as it doesn't rip off because they heal themselves quickly and resume growing.

I always FIM rather than top, the reason being I see no reason to loose the 2-3 nodes at the top of the main shoot. I only sever the top node to promote branching, this includes the nodes directly below it. The node spacing at the top of the plant is so close its hard to see them, but there is probably 4 at least developing at once.

As far as training, I just use string and steaks/tent pegs, leaving enough of a loop around the branch for growth. If you check out my thread later I will be training one of my blackberry plants this way soon. Hopefully tonight.

Yes, however which technique you use is up to you. When you top, your usually taking quite a few nodes from the top and when you fim you are just taking the very last node. So if you fim, vertical growth is slowed, but the last few node sites on the top of the shoot will develop into branches. If you top, vertical growth is just about halted, this is due to the plant directing all its energy to the lower branches because there is nothing at the top anymore.
