it was a mix of worm castings, homemade compost, mg organic potting soil and some native soil from around my property. I also added sand for drainage. I really didnt know what i was doing at the time i just got lucky to be honest. I didnt start doing much research on growing until they were already getting huge and i didnt know what to do.

the plant and nature really do all the work for you..... sometimes when you get too involved you get negative results......... nice 2 gal. plant..... :P

is there like an organic section inside of a wal-mart gardening center?

cool plant man. never seen one like that in a 2 gal. as for the raccoon the fishing line wont work. thats just crazy. he must not have ever caught a raccoon before.
try http://www.rpoutdoors.com/rpurine.html . get the wild cat urine. not ony will it keep the raccoon away but EVERYTHING else too.

yea i could see how that would work. that is until another bear gets scent of that and goes to investigate another bear shitting in it's territory and tramples your plants. or worse is there when you go to check on them.

Yeah dude, they got the MG organic potting and gardening soil, also they have other organic mixes. Have also seen the MG bone meal and blood meal along with a few other things. Just wish they carried Fox Farm.
