advice on my indoor/outdoor plants, pictures!

I am a first time planter. I planted these at the beginning of April I started off in a small closet with 2 fluorescent tube plant growing lights directly above the growing pots, the growth seemed normal but not extremely fast. About a month later all 5 were a good foot or more out of the ground, when i decided to add a compact fluorescent light. The closet was completely tin-foiled and the growth seemed to pick up to more of a rapid rate. However 3 weeks later i had to transplant them to the outdoors, this being around may 25. the original transplantation seemed to have shocked the nearly 3 foot tall plants. it took them 2 weeks to bounce back and begin to start looking healthy again. now they are almost 6 feet tall but not as full as id like them to be. here are pictures, i will get more within the week. any comments would be awesome, thanks

looks really healthy but cut yellow leaves dow part of veg then your veg is going to much bigger

Pinch the tops off, it will increase your yeilds

thanks, what exactly did you mean by "tops" ... i have another question. one of the 5 plants has the little ball things at the base of each branch, im pretty sure that means its a male, but how come none of the others have them yet (i understand that some may be female) and i suppose i should get rid of that plant asap

take a closer pic to where it looks like a ball, this could be a male or female pre flower. cutting the top off is simple, get a scalpel and slice an inches off where your new leaves will come out.

Before listening to complete strangers telling you to " top " your plants, look into it.Maybe it's what you want....maybe it isn't.Topping will sacrifice your main cola but will create more smaller budsites.This may or may not increase your yield depending on how the topping goes, and the genetics of the plant.

males start showing signs about 2 weeks before females, and listen to SHAME GAME read into topping, you could be gambling with your biggest and most potent bud!

im going to LST and top my plants this year, fuck a 6g bud when i get 4-5 2g bigger buds

edit: why didnt you LST them to make them into a bush instead of a stalk???? seems like a waste of a good plant!!! not really, but if you tied them to the side the under growth (the smaller buds will get more sunlight) making your yeild all around good instead of one bomb main cola, and regs with no smoke value...
