Default First outdoor Guerilla grow spot #2 (PICS)
Started with 7 here and now I have 4. I don;t tend to these plants. Just put them in 3Gal pots in an organic mixed soil and only watered once on site. I hatched them outdoor in my back yard and transplanted once they were about 8' tall to buckets for their final destination. These girls are bag seed and at 9 weeks. I did super crop #2 and #1 but #1 was topped after the 2nd node so as you can see there are 4 major colas only 3 of witch are shown.

#2 was topped after 4th node and #3 is natural. #4 is small and not shown.

Hey they look great, man!

They are going to need bigger pots or they will start to get rootbound and will not be able to feed themselves. Also, in pots that small, if your summers are at all hot, you will need to water a couple times a week. Assuming it doesn't rain, of course.

Great job so far, bro, and good luck!

Yup...you need to either put em' in the ground or bigger pots. But they look beautiful. Question...you mentioned topping one of your girls. The scales tip from one side to the other. People are split between topping trees. Any benefit for this?

topping at the right time will give you more yield. You don't want to top like 2 weeks before flowering starts. If you top about 1.5 months before then you will basically have 2 plants in one. Although i do know alot of people that do not top and have amazing yields outdoors. Try it on one of your plants and compare yields at the end of the season.

A month before flowering at the latest. I have a JTR I topped this year at the third node that is basically two plants.

I notice many more nodes on topped plants. This is due to the extra growth on the lower branches that keep developing as the top of the plant recovers and begins to grow once again.

This is my first time though. I just did a few years of research before I attempted.

yeah, I think I'll hold off this year, being my first real attempt. See what mother nature does for me.
