hers a pic of the low flying plane the flew over my plants 3 times..he wasn't looking at my plants he was crop dusting the fields adjacent to my house.I only have 3 plants so I'm not freaking out but do u guys think he saw them.they would have been visible to him there in a small clearing in the tall grass on the side of my property...should i be freaking ??i can't move them so i guess I'll just wait and see.

I'd worry about the pesticides killing your crop!

Yeah, if it's a crop duster, it probably couldn't tell what the vegetation was. And they probably weren't paying any attention. But damn, those pesticides do blow in the wind. And weed IS technically a weed, so it's probably sensitive to whatever they're using. Don't quote me on that, though.

Dude from that height I very doubt that your plants will be seen, I was up in 1 of those little planes before and you would have to be scraping the wing off the ground to make out any specific vegetation, but as the others are saying you better watch for whatever he is spraying cos it could be harmful to your crop. The plants weren't in the direct line of fire of the spray and I checked them to see if they got hit by it and they didn't and they look fine.

yeah i would think planes fly too fast to spot it, helo's go pretty slow and pretty low when they are looking. and unless your plants were budding i wouldn't worry about any sprays killing your crop, i think they spray for weeds in the spring to give corn a head start, then it's mostly fungicides and pesticides/

ya it's pesticides.the farmer called to tell us he was crop dusting but did not say when...by the time I heard the plane it was to late figured just leave them.thought it would be more noticeable me running around like a chicken with its head cut off carrying plants lol.
