quick question

whats up peeps, quick question. Two actually If you plant near a red ant pile will the ants fuck with your plants?.
Iam leaning towards growing a few plants in pails and burying them due to security reasons.(wanna be able to move them if needed).
Will I have to water twice as much? How big should the pails be?

i have planted all of my plants on a giant ant hill. It has been 2 months and the plants are doing fine. I know they are small black ants but there is a shitload of em. I think its ok though. Im not sure of red ants but your probably ok
