To top or not to top?

Hello again, all... I'm growing an Early Misty outdoors for the first time this year... it is HEAVILY Indica, and I am much more familiar with Sativas... I usually top my plants early in growth in order to promote lots of tops, but I'm not sure if I should do this with the Early Misty or not?
