I would be freaked out too! seems like they know about your endeavor and are trying to get a pic. of u. seems kind of odd that they just "showed up", like garden said, they may have set up a camera and u walked by it then the chopper came by to get a closer look. I would try to move the plants as soon as possible, at night, or if u think it's too risky, abandon the plants

hers the thing. they may have been heading somwhere else and saw you dive and Hide from them under the tree. that may have been why the stopped to see what they hell you were hiding from and that in itself may have been the reason they find you plants.

or they may have discovered your plants prior. In that case I am guessing that since you said you are in a rural town its possible that the cops are not that busy and they are going to try to catch you in the act. personally I would not return to that place for 2 months. when you return wear a hat a sunglasses on a sunny day and bring with you a dog & a frisby. do not act like you are looking at the plants but just go in the field a play with your dog and quikly just glance to see if the plants are there. If they are and you are willing to risk it then maybe you can harvest at an unpredictable time wearing full mask and what not late at night.

However I would be careful cuz there is nothing worse than a bored cop looking for a good bust to brag about. also if its true they are trying to catch the cultivator that bad. it seems they would try to throw the book at you and hype it up to justify thier expenses in the event you do get caught.

Tough luck man, that certainly IS a scary situation. On the other hand you can take a camera with you and say you're bird watching. Be completely oblivious to the plants and their location if you get questioned.

I would possibly start thinking about an indoor grow...

also this may be overkill but I think you can buy a device that will alert you to any hidden electric devices i.e. motion sensors cameras etc.


If you do decide to harvest I would first go there at night with your buddy with a bunch a beer and pretend like your having a camp out near the grow site. That way if they have the place monitored they will think you are the growers when infact you are just some nice kids having a little camp out

"sorry officor I cantbelieve you were looking for pot growers, no we're just camping sir, sure hope you catch the fellas who are doin this,.."

Then wink at the cop and sip your beer and smile to reveal your iced out grill

First rule - Its better to be free without free weed, then it is to be locked up without free weed

Second rule - its better to be broke and smoke free weed, then to be rich in prison from selling free weed. All it takes is one asshole to get arrested and rat you out, then your in the clink for years possibly.

Third rule - Anyone who knows about your grow is your closest potencial enemy.

Forth rule - if you teach or help a very close freind start growing, be ready to wonder if he will rat you out if he gets caught so his charges would get droped

Rule 4 1/2 - Which is bad all around but, teach a stupid sap how to grow, then in the event you get caught, just drop that dip's name and get off scott free . (this is not condoned by me, but never the less must be aware of these things, you might be the sap after all)

Fifth rule - Always respect the police, they do not write the laws, and always be respectful to them no matter what even if they cussing you out. After all its best for your arresting officor to feel kinda bad for you

Sixth rule - never drive with anything on you less you can eat it in the event you get pulled over

Seventh rule - always be aware that a cop could knock on your door at anytime for anything, if your stoned when you open the door your better act cool and not have the place stinkin. cops will come for many reasons IE animal control your dog got loose, IE your lawns a mess and city wants it clean, IE noise violation and god knows what else.

Eighth rule - smoke your weed dont let it smoke you

rule nine - if your mom knows you smoke and is upset about it, lie to the poor lady and tell her you quit. (obviously im talking to adults here)

rule ten - dont listen to these silly rules as I am making them up as I go along

if they are in pots i would move them for sure but be careful like someone else said i would at least wear a mask. if you have dogs take them for a walk in the area so you dont look too suspicious. keep in mind that you are noi out of your head and in your mind they are already after you. even if they saw you im sure they dond have pix of your face so take the dogs for a walk and see what happens. i figure at worst they will tell you that you do not need to be in the area as long as they dont see you tending to the plants. be stealth like a fox lol
