Today the light cycle for my plants was put to a 12/12 light cycle to induce budding. The plants are going to be put outside, but the question is:
Is there going to be any benefit to letting plants bud inside until after June 21st and then putting outside. The days will be getting shorter, so i would think it would continue budding, instead of starting to bud at the end of August. It is no problem if i need to put them out earlier, but they wont show sex until end of May. I am aware that they will reveg if they are put out when days are still getting longer, but wont it take time away from plant growing going from budding to vegging and then back to budding. I am sexing them now to only put females out. Here is some pics
Nope. Change em back quick. Wouldn't you want MONTERS instead of dwarfs? Some strains flower early and some late, some in between. Can't change that. There's not many so it wont be hard to do a grow of 5-6

So as soon as they show sex, i should put light cycle back to 18 hours light and 6 hours dark inside for a week or so to readjust to vegging cycle. All seeds are bagseed so unfortunately there is no way of determining flowering length. Or should i not even worry about sexing indoors. I was hoping to be able to take some clones once they show sex. I will have at least 30 other plants outdoors that i was not intending on sexing, but i wanted to at least know a majority will be females. Thanks for the advice

Sex them and then put back on 18/6 pronto,Do you know how to "pre sex".Look for a little white hair between the nodes.Your males will show their sex 1st.
Yes you can do that but its not ideal. Next year start about 30. Take 2-4 clones of each. After taking clones put the ones from seed into flowering. Within two weeks you'll know whats what. This will give you plenty of stock for the upcomming season.
awesome, thanks for the advice guys. I know what male plants look like. Is it correct to assume it will take about a month to show sex. This is only the 2nd or 3rd day on 12/12.
Males show quicker than females. I can tell usally in a week. i would let it go 2 just to make sure. Did you notice anything strange of that pic i posted. Not your AVERAGE male, lol hahahahahah. Good luck with your grow.

what part of the world are you.i have put plants 3 weeks in bud outside and they went back to veg.
i am in the US and I am aware that they will reveg if i put a budding plant outdoors, that why the main question that has been answered was if i let it bud for a while and put it outside after days started to get shorter. I am now just going to put the light back to 18/6 once sex shows for a week or two so that it starts to reveg before i put it outside, hopefully the beginning of June or so. The plants are looking awesome today. They have grown significantly since even yesterday.
