Default Check my 1st Outdoor Medical Grow!
I just copied and pasted this from the thread I made in the Grow Journal forum but it's an outdoor so I felt like it should be in the Outdoor forum

So I'm set on the spot I chose and plan on filling my holes and droppin my ladies once the weather warms up a little hopefully by next week sometime. I'm going all organic as my town kinda lives by the organic growing lifestyle and it'd be foolish for me not too.
My organic soil is a pre-mix that contains all these goodies already in it-
worm castings, bat guano, bone meal, soybean meal, soft rock phosphate, greensand, fish meal, blood meal, langbenite (K-mag), bark, diatomaceous earth, perlite, and kelp meal.
My holes are about 3 ft. wide and I plan on filling the holes half and half with the pre-mix soil, and then with the native red dirt to promote stronger root development.
My menu is still kinda up in the air as I'm waiting for some more clones from my friend to root, but the clones I'm using for sure are Granddaddy Purps, Monkey Paw, maaybe Cali Orange but probably not because I didn't like the way my friends turned out last season. I'll probably also head to the clubs and get a couple dank club clones like Green Crack and maybe some Lavender or something good.
Check the pics of the work I've done so far and should have some more of the clones I'll be using when I pick them up.
Scribe && Enjoy!!

And here's a couple picture of the tree I had to climb up into and limb a couple big branches that we're obstructing the light.
In the 2nd picture, the arrows show where I limbed the tree.
I wanted to take the whole thing out but the little hand saw I had wouldn't bring it down, and I think if I took it down, it might be a little too much clearing and make it too noticeable.

this is just my first patch of 5, too. I'm only going to use 4 of the 5 holes though because the upper most one gets a little shady later in the day. So I'll take some pictures of my other patch and post them soon

Nice spot. A bit in the open for my liking but it will get lots of direct sunlight. Hopefully there is no one parading through that area!

just by the deer and rabbits whom I've goin to take care of
it's pretty hard to access it tho so I'm not too concerned, and my whole surrounding neighborhood is pretty much a big retirement home so I'm not too worried about anyone just going for a stroll and coming across it.
And I agree, it is pretty open. But I'm not using that whole area cuz that'd be dumb and obvious so I'm doing a patch of 4 in that spot then another patch of 5 a little ways away and maybe even another little patch down the hill a little

Lol well that old man in his wheel chair is gettin pushed down the hill and picking up uncontrollable speeds before his lifes ends into a tree. and not one of my trees

But yea its just a nice clearing with a south-east facing slope I found when I went out for a walk at the end of March determined to find a spot for this season. It wouldn't be as clear as it is if two larrrge pine trees didn't naturally fall, and I figure since those trees hadn't been cleaned up in what looks to be years, I'm not worried about someone stumbling across them. I wish I could bring everyone on RIU.org out there cuz it's just so legit!

still too chilly up in the hills to plant my ladies yet, though. so everyone pray for warmer weather!! and at this time next week I'll be droppin them in

Hahaha well he can grow his own! I got mine covered

Here's a couple pictures of the 5 gallon bottles with screw tops I'm going to haul my water with and what I'm using when I have to stash them and keep unnoticeable.
Picking up my ladies next week when the weather warms up a little so more pictures then!
