lst takes up more horizontal space, topping takes up more vertical space... depends on circumstances i think. for a couple of plants id use lst in my room. for 4 id use topping. for 8 id use sog

sog = sea of green. means lots of smallish plants with an even canopy and one main cola. lots of info on it in faq
