Default growing outdoors in ontario
hello RIU

i live in southern ontario and i have one crop finishing up flowering under a 250 hps and another in veg
but since the weather is nice and i have a big bag of bagseed i was wondering if it is possible and if so what steps i need to take to basically just drop some seeds, and come back only about once a month to check on progress and remove males when time comes
i would like to know some more specifics on what kind of environment id be looking for around the area, i was looking at a few hidden away revienes and a forest that is public but has no real paths and lots of sections well hidden

this is just kinda a trial with some bagseed growing outdoors

i dont expect to even get a harvest from these plants but hey, if i do then thats great

im looking to have 20-30 seeds planted, im guessing ill loose 1/2 because i wont be monitoring them and they are exposed to the elements and im expecting 1/2 of those to turn male. so in the end im hoping to have between 5-8 plants that make it

im thinking if it goes ok in future i mite keep a mother veggin and take clones and root em in starter cubes, then transplant to small pots (1/4-1/2 gallon) and once they root into those and the weather is warm next spring take em outside to flower

input, and sugestions please

The people I know usually start their plants indoors around 4/20 and veg them for about a month before planting them in the ground.
I know the weather seems nice now but it still gets pretty cold at night. I would wait a couple of weeks.

i think i will plant a few seeds in RW starter cubes and then transplant to small pots and let em veg under a t5 lamp untill they grow into their pots, then take em and put em outside

ill do a tray of 20-25 plants

i was wondering if they like more mositure or if they like the soil to be dryer

like i said there where a few places i was thinking of droping these plant off and there are spots that have almost soggy soil and some that are almost barand!

i guess we will see what hapens
