Thanks Zane, My friend Nuggs has some killer planters he built I'll ask if he minds me posting a pic or two of his boxes, (with plants) in the next couple of days. I've grown in the ground, plastic grow bags, plastic buckets, plastic swimming pools, ceramic pots and have found that the raised boxes out preform all but the ground..

Some places the soil doesn't drain so it's better to build a raised bed.

yeah it also seems like the two plants in each rather big bed, gives them sooo much room to grow...the roots can just spread out...so do you build them, or your friend nuggs? or do you buy them?

I had these boxes built and Nuggs built his own. I'm either hooked up to an oxygen concentrator or dragging around an 8 litre tank on wheels, sucks. I gave my son(Have 4 sons) 3 nice girls about 9 days ago which he put into a hole I dug some years back, wait until harvest and I'll post some pics. Even though he got a late start I'm sure they'll do great. This hole is 20 feet by 6 feet and almost 3 feet deep, been adding to it for over 10 years.. He just added some chicken manure and turned the top 20 inches or so up.

Damn man sorry to hear about your condition...but hey at least your growing a lot of quality meds for your health! Yeah hodge id love to see those plants you gave your son, come harvest time Ill remind you to put some pics up...really cool that you gave him some of your girls though...you remind me of my dad but way more experienced in growing..my dad used to grow giant mexican sativas(rather carelessly) when I was young lol now im 18 and have my medical rec, so does my dad, so my garden is for me and him...
anyways man 20ft by 6ft deep! dayummmm! thats one massive hole..should be more than enough for the 3 girls you gave him...and the soil in it is probably kick ass cuz its been chillin, baking in the sun, gettin rained on etc for 10 years! anyways man thanks for keepin me entertained!
