A friend and I utilized this method years ago when renting an old farm house. We didn't want to grow in the house but, there were 3 weeping willows growing in a clump down in the creek bottoms. We made a chain harness with 2 pulleys that was connected to 2 trees in the top, this lifted a 60" wooden ammo crate Filled with pigshit and potting soil. Started em indoors with 4-40w tubes. There was a perfect 5' hole between the trees up top. The trick was getting the chain up there.

That sounds pretty cool. I'm seriously considering trying it, I have a few hanging baskets lying around and I can get cuttings for next to nothing so they're pretty disposable. Not that I want to dispose of them deliberately, what with herb being sacred and all.

In Florida it is a common practice to place weed in the crowns of Palmettos... it hides them, yet allows light and drainage.

I am unaware of the strains but if you put your weed in 3 gallon pots they never get out of control. Palmettos hide everything.
