Default Is Peat Moss substrate good for growing?
Is peat moss substrate good enough for growing MJ,Ph is around 5,5-6,5,and it contain perlite and lime stone to bring down Ph,I gonna add some compost substrate as well.I`m gonna use peat moss substrate because its light enough to carry 1 mile into woods(150 liter bags),and soil in the woods are quite shitty,is this good idea?

I thought so, ordered high dollar long cut peat. Found out recently that it is an anti-microbial material. For perfect, proper balance, you do not need a water retention when you have a living soil.Use a good quality compost by organic dealers, & you won't need to worry about moisture problems,.. unless you use chemicals that kills the living soil.
