My grow is indoors but when I discovered I had a boy I threw him out the back so he wouldn't get the girls pregnant. Much to my surprise he is florishing outside even though it rained for 24hrs solid yesterday.

So I'm just wondering what would happen if the girls were outside? Everything says you have to be careful not to touch the flowers cause it will mess up the thc - but surely that would happen if it was raining out of doors????

If you decide to put your plants outside, you should have nothing to worry about. They're plants and are meant to be outside where it is expected to get lots of sunshine and rain. Just make sure the container has good drainage.

plants like water, why don't people understand that? and yes if you have a male it will still polinate your female, but no it wont "mess up" the thc, you will just have slightly earlier matureing buds that arent quite as thick as a seedless but, and about 75 percent of the buds will be seeds, you will be left with stemmy harsh tasting weed that loses lots of kief when you squish all the seeds out of the calaxes, but they should be just as potent by cleaned budweight. kill the male, it's usesless, that or if you want some seeds cut all the branches off but one, and tie a paper bag around it to colect pollen. If you put your plants outside right now it could stress them to hermie, you should'nt mess with the lightscedule during flowering if you can help it, so you would have to bring them in and out every day to keep daylight hours 12-12

Well maybe you need to read with a little more empathy. What he's trying to find out is whether or not that affects the potency of the buds. For instance, you see all the pictures of snow covered white widow buds and whether or not the elements actually "wash and wear" some of that potency away might occur to someone without a lot of experience.

they just may. good question. smoke some indoor and some outdoor of the same strain and see how they fair.......

but i still agree that they will get wet.

I find outdoor has a better kick. I grow both ways and the outdoor aways kicks ass..

Rain is only bad in the final days of the outdoor.
If you have a damp/wet fall you can get bud rot or mold.
The hot summer days prevent this from happening threw out the year tho.
With out rain the plant collects dust and prevents photosynthesize.
The rain also feeds your outdoor...

Dude, are you kidding me? It is an outdoor plant, that has been adapted to indoor growing practices. THC is not water soluable. He''ll get bigger and better yeilds if he can grow outside, not to mention no electric bill.
