Question Decisions, Decisions: Flush, Feed or Top?
I have a Master Kush in my tomato patch. She gets a lot of love (a) because she's MK, dammit!, and (b) because I use lots of organics and spend a lot of time in my vegetable garden anyway.

So her white hairs are starting to turn brown (happens so fast) but she's not very tall yet! So now I am faced with three options, and would like some feedback from the wise:

Flush = If I start the flush cycle (2 weeks, right?) then I have to harvest. I'd like to make her a mother (bring her inside and reveg), so I'd have to make preparations to do that.

Feed = Leave her alone and let her keep growing; give her some more guano and some bloom nutes and see how she grows

Top = Clip the main cola and let the outer branches grow together

I am leaning toward topping, since I haven't tasted anything from this plant yet (so then I will know if she's worth mothering), but I don't want to mess it up now that I've gotten this far!

its hard to tell from the pics, you really should judge ripness by looking at the % of amber tricomes to milky ones, but if about half the hairs on the top cola have turned brown, and the buds are swelled nice and fat i would harvest the top cola and let the others grow, for all you know they might start vegging again and then you will get two harvests out of her.

What up Budmist.
Looking sweet.
How long has it been growing.
Must be nice to live and grow in Ca.
I am a few hundred miles inland off the south east coast.

Have you seen the info on the trichomes in growfaq?
You may want to get a mini microscope or a good mag glass and take a look at the crystals.

I think I might would lean towards topping once it is ready.
Then I would let the lower buds catch up.
Looks like you might could grow 2-3 crops outside if you started them inside just because of your climate.

What up Beaner seen your post when I got finished editing this one.

Happy growing

Soooooo...I topped it. A trip to my local hydro expert gave me the confidence and proper tools (sterile scapel, NOT scissors!!) to do the job.

The remaining branches seem to be happy, and there is definitely something good drying in that box in the corner....

I'll post pics soon.
