i got my hands on some Peters 20-20-20, its a blue "powder" ... on the small package it says .. 1 teaspoon in 1 liter of water ... do i go by this measurement or should i use 1/2 teaspoon in 1 liter of water? ive read around start at 1/4 tspoon per gallon... so what is it ... per gallon , per liter ?
im planning to start feeding my plants on the 8th....

well i have some 20-20-20 as well but i think the brand is AG (i don't have it now so i'll clarify the brand 2moro)..its lite blue but more like salt crystals..and on the packet it says use 2 tsp. per gallon. i went ahead and used 1 generous tsp (not 2 generous) per gallon and gave my plant about 300ml (half a 20oz. bottle) last nite. the soil was still moist wen i gave it cause of the rain and this morning it looked perfectly healthy. so i guess u could go with 1/4 tsp per gallon or 1 tsp,it's up to you. people advise how to mix it but i hardly see advice on how much of the said liquid u should give a one plant (considering age, height etc.)

the baby leafs are kind of almost fallen off... and i have some of this 20-20-20 ... 1 gallon is almost 4 liters .. so ill do it like that ..1 teaspoon in 4 liters of water ... and when i water ... i use a dog bowl to water with... my grow pot is a10 liter pot and if the idea is giving water every 3 days or so, i think itll do.

thank you my friend! check out my post.. i wrote a new update today some great discovery, hehe!!

speaking of cheap decent nutes. I have been using a product from walmart called Expert all purpose plant food with very good results it is a 15-30-15. Costs less than 4 bucks. I have used peters and like this better.

Im pretty sure you answered your own question when you said (only thing i knew was 12/12 made it bud),we see lotsa people with this problem,i had this problem as well when i got back into growing.

I took a 20 plus year break from growing pot but before i stopped growing i was pretty good,i didnt know shit in the grand scheme of marijuana growing but i knew how to keep plants healthy & that was enough, when i got back into growing i got on the internet & like to shit my pants all the stuff everybody says you gotta do to have healthy plants .

I started trying out some of the shit i read & promptly got into trouble with the grow,i then decided to go back to baics & quit trying to out think the plant,im as basic a grower as one can be & i get excellent results every grow.

You want killer buds again go back to being an idiot noob grower(not an insult),i kid you not the less you fuk with the plants the better off they are, pick some simple fertilizer & use it very sparingly, use your own soil mix, dont try to analyze every little discoloration in the leaves, dont loose your mind trying to get 100% proper ph,just water & lightly feed the plants, forget most of what you've learned on the internet,go back to the extreme basics & your buds will be much better again.

Also throw away the calander, day count means nothing when figuring out when to chop, grow the same strain a few grows, get used to the strain, check the trichomes for about 50% honey colored trichs then harvest, after a grow or two you'll have it mastered,a very common mistake i see so many growers here do is count days,"im at week 7 in budding should i start flushing?",a commonly asked question, there are too many variables from grow room to grow room to use calender days as an indicator of harvest, use the trichomes & keep it as simple as possible & most of all do not sweat, then try to correct the little shit.
I could not agree more. Im fairly new to indoor growing and the first few months were extremely frustrating, the amount of info on the internet seemed to make it a really difficult process. I've been an avid, successful outdoor gardener for years and the way I was taught was, stick the seed in the soil, water it every few days and let the damn thing grow. Which is why I was confused at the amount of stuff people were doing to their indoor gardens, i figured it was an indoor thing. Well, after destroying a few plants, I went back to the basics. I have reverted back to simple tap water (If its good enough for my outdoor garden, it's good enough for my indoor garden). Simple 20-20-20 mix once a week, and my plants are gorgeous. Will I get maximum yield? Probably not, but the stress free growing is worth it. I don't check my ph or ppm's, I just let the plant do what it wants to do. I have cloned with a 100% success rate using a bubble cloner with tap water only, you gotta see these roots (I'll try and get the pics up). I don't even let my tap water sit out to let the chlorine evaporate. I'm liking this method, it works for me, saves me money and takes the stress out of growing and puts the fun back into it.

I've been using Jack's 20-20-20 with great result this summer. A bit of burn when I overdid it, but I learned my lesson and dialed it back before much damage was done. Now I've got 20-20-20 from kelp4less.com, the analysis is damn near identical to Jack's, some of the micros are a hair different in quantity. Since starting the triple 20, I've only seen the slightest hint of a deficiency, and that was well into stretch and giving a 5ft plant about 1/3 tsp/gallon.

it didnt mess up my plant at all. I used it in my first grow and it was way up there with the best weed i have EVER smoked(not just my bias opinion). since then i have grow 2 times in dirt and one in hydro and only had nute burn only one time in dirt and the weed seems to not even come close to my first plant. first time was a bag seed (only thing i knew was 12/12 made it bud). and i have had good genetics since then but something is WRONG and i check ppm ph temp ever since first grow and it does not come close. SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN?...........the weed is good but it seems lacking in every area smell high taste
check ph run off in soil.. to low or to high will fuck up grow.. flush if it's high or low a good ph.for run off is 6.. good luck.. and don't use to many nutes less is more.

Peters 20-20-20 is an all purpose fertilizer,i use it in veg stage & have used it for a long time in everything i grow,i get excellent results with all peters products,peters/jacks is nothing like Miracle Grow, its very easy on the plants as long as you mix at 50% max strength & never go any higher.

Peters is now called "Jacks Classic" fertilizers, they sell a combo pack called "The Dynamic Duo" which is what i use & i have excellent results.

This is what you have in the link below only under the peters name correct ? if so its an excellent fertilizer for the veg stage, you'll want to get some flowering fertilizer & stop using the 20-20-20 about a week or two into flowering,i use the Jacks 10-30-20 for flowering.

How many grams would you say in a gallon of water? Note, I fertilize daily in an inert media till run off.
