Yeah I know, not going to be all that well concealed, but I don't have any town copters to worry about, I live in a college town, and they've unfortunately been cutting the police & fire force over the last couple years, so the fights on my lawn go on for 2 to 3 rounds now before the po po show up to put the kebash on my own ufc fight night.
But I was thinking, I've got a flat roof on the back of my house about 45' up, the only way anyone around me would be able to see is from one of the higher houses, but they are several doors away in all directions. I was thinking if the pot container matched the roof color, and maybe use some plastic (as a green house) it would prevent prying eyes from knowing whats in there if they even were to see it from a neighboring roof, but my main roof is higher in the front of the house by 18', so it would only be visible from really only one direction.

Just curious if anyone has tried this, or knows of any success stories using this method.

p.s. I was considering this also, as a good place to flower my crop once they get 4 to 6 weeks in since I live in the northeast, during July & august, the days will goto 12/12.

I've grown on top of a abondonned warehouse.
Just be careful.....dont tell anyone.

thats funny because i was thinking about doing that yesterday. i was going to grow my plants on my roof until they were about 6 or 9 inches tall

My thinking was to get them to 12 - 16", my grow cab is 30" D X 24" W X 40" H. So I was going to try for 4 to 6 plants, shit squash the males (via some clones). then stick the Mama's out on the roof for sum 12/12 under the biggest grow lamp you don't have to buy. It would be fairly easy to frame up a pseudo-green house with some plastic and wood, that way you couldn't tell what it is, and leave the two ends open for good airflow, spritz them 2x a day with some seltzer water & pray to the bud gods...

Some wild weather up here today, I was working out on a roof and the temp went from 82 to 58 degrees in roughly 15mins, then it turned into nighttime... which prompted me to quickly git tha fuck off.... gotta love new england, don't like the weather... just wait a minute....

Do you have a chimney up there?

Grow you plants on it or near it and wrap them and the chimney with plastic. Most everyone will think you are just repairing a leaking roof/chimney.
That is unless you have a landlord, who would probably want to know what you are doing to his chimney.

Stick up fencing, something like those thin bamboo fences, they still let the light in and people will just see plants growing..besides there inexpensive, just make sure you put them up properly so they don't blow around too much in the wind.
They won't suspect it's cannabis.

if anyone asks why you have put it up, just tell them you enjoy sunbathing nude.
