Question time release outdoor help..
i'm planning next years outdoor grow and i'm planning on having 18 indica clones outside in the woods well away from my house.. i was going to use some time release fert. because i won't beable to visit the site every time they need watering... i was going to buy some veg. fert and some flowering fert... if i used the veg fert how much should i use around each plant? maybe a handful, or half a handful.. then when i went to the flowering nutes would i have to wait becaues the veg fert is still there?.... also seen the fert makes the bud taste and burn bad when harvested how would i be able to remove it from the ground around the plant to flush it out...? just lots of water would take care of it?

follow the instructions on the bottle ... also what is the brand, etc.? to flush .. you would need a good bit of water everyday with time release .. like the last week til harvest like a gallon a plant everyday could do the trick

the brand is unknown as of now... it will be some type that i find at home depot or walmart or some store like that.. i suppose i could use less fert for flowering and it would mean that i would have to use less water to flush the nutes from the soil..

The water retaining expanding crystal gel might be a solution to that. Get out a month before planting and turn the dirt over and add in your dolamite lime, perlite, etc and also premix up some expanding gel and rinse it in with the soil mix.

I got great results using the water crystals with an organic mix.

A flowering tea with guano and molasses was used to supplement. But you could top dress with guano if you were feeling lazy.

In my organic mix I had: Bonemeal, Bloodmeal, Kelpmeal, and 2 kinds of guano.

A few thing were added when I mixed up the soil like Dolomite lime, Epsom salt and the water crystals.

Organics is time released, for example it takes 4 to 5 months for bonemeal to break down, about 2 months for bloodmeal.

yeah i don't really plan on anything organic tho.. only fer what's in the soil already.. i may use some mulch around them to keep the water from evaporating too fast.. but that's about it.. as for nutes it's just chemical bead time release fert.
