Fellow growers,

I have a little debate for my 09 outdoor growing operation. First it is not on my land, so it can be called "gorrilla growing" I am going to be going organic, so I wont be using any chemical ferts. And this is going to be my first grow. My location is located next to a creek, and suroundin g my location is a swamp/marsh land. I have tested the ph level of the soil and it reads 6.5-6.8, which is perfect for my babys. Thats a little background for my grow.

Now is my real problem. My location is above a creek bank and there is some brush in front of the grow spot, and the area has deer. And There is a slim chance of people walking down the creek so here is my question, What the best way to fence in 9-12 plants? to fence in each plant seperally or to fence all the plants in one big fence. please help me decide on option 1 or 2. I need the best option that will be less noticable if people happen to walk by.

I think I'd go with option 2. I really don't see how option 1 would be any better. Option 1 is more work. Option 2 seems easier to set up and probably easier to tend to your plants when you need to. Also, if you're concerned with people noticing your plants, putting a fence around them might not be such a good idea. The fence will just make the operation more noticeable. I know you need to keep deer out... but whats more important? keeping deer out, or keeping people out. I'd say keeping people out would be more important because not only do you have to worry about them stealing your shit... but you also have to worry about them calling the cops. I think if I were you, I'd risk a deer invasion to avoid a people invasion. At least a deer might leave you some... if a smoker finds your plants, they won't leave you any... and neither will the cops. I wouldn't put a fence up. I'd just urinate all around the grow area to try and detour the deer.

Thanks I think I might buy 3ft tall chicken wire and wrap the whole plot like in option 2. I deer hunt so I know deer go the easiest way around things so Ill add tones of brush around the plot and make a game trail far away from the plot so the deer wont be tempted. BTW the area is really thick so I believe it will be a sucsessful grow. thanks again

I would spred them out alittle more, your "putting all your eggs in one basket" if you know what i mean. atleast 2 different spots, but i would recommend only 2-3 plants per spot. it will be more work, but think about it, with ONE spot its only going to take; ONE hunter, ONE pack of deer, ONE random hiker/ripper, ONE flood, or ONE heli fly over. Thats pretty damn risky for all the time and effort you put into it. spread em out man and good luck. it's better to have 2 or 3 plants then none!

Dude ... if you deer hunt .. Why not just shoot all the deer .. problem solved

Yes exactly. I had a friend that would plant 15 plants outdoor in different spots. He would only end up harvesting 2 of them because random stuff would happen to the others. The 2 big plants was enough to carry him through the year.
