my friend has a outdoor plant that he got from some dude. the plant is now in the ground and it is about 2 1/2 ft tall, and it is already budding(looks like it has been budding for maybe 2 weeks). the prob is the hours of the sun are set for veg and it already has bud formation on it. what will happen to the plant,will it keep on finishing out the budding process, or will it send it back into veg?

Give it a shot..Soon as you see bud growth stop for awhile...take the top 2/3.. of the plant, leave the bottom to reveg

no dont top it just let it go . your "friends" "friend" probably had it under 24 hours of light and its streeed out so its forcing itself to finish its life cycle. mine do that all the time.

Its outside..how do you have it under 24hr light?...you can get 2 harvest when your outside..one june, one october give or take a couple of weeks depending on the strain

i guess i Q is was it always an outdoor plant.

if it's indica strain it may finish flowering. if so feed it flower nutes until it is ripe. harvest leaving as much n the plant as possible. then switch to notrogen and it will re veg. you can use nutes to help control flowering cycles as well as light.
