Leaves turning purple

Let's say you have some sour diesel that are on day 68 of flowering outdoors. Why did the leaves turn purple?

Because most of the nitrogen/chlorophyll in the plant is goin' bye bye as it is used up to make buds...

and because she's probably about finished!

FWIW...I've noticed that Sour Deisel and the diesels in general seem to tend to go red/purple at the end.

Because they got cold.
