doesn't like a good idea to have your plant in soil with laundry detergent being poured in to it!
Growing outside next to washing-machine drainage, would it be safe?

EVERYTHING THAT I SAY HERE IS COMPLETELY FALSE AND THE ONLY REASON I SAY THESE THINGS IS SO I CAN SOUND COOL.
YUM YUM Bubble bud.
My Reservation has no Post office. So nothing coming in and absolutely nothing going out.
I am just a figment of the collective imagination of the people on this site.
I dunno, seemed like as long as the actual soap doesnt touch the plants it may get filtered enough. I didn't mean directory in it, just a few feet away...
The grass and weeds seem to thrive there so...
i was gonna ask about the grass. my mom had a tomatoe plant that was growing under the exhaust outlet from her dryer. the thing got frickin' HUGE!!!!! biggest tomatoe plant i ever saw. there were others nearby that didn't get the heat that weren't half the size.
if the grass is still living, then.............
i'd try it.
my wife will be keeping an eye on this account while i am away. if you would like to correspond with me simply PM her and she will pass along my contact info.

Did she eat it and grow any new limbs? Or did it taste like laundry detergent?
That's actually what I wondering, if it's safe.
If all that is used is laundry detergent that could be fine. But if bleach is used that could do very severe damage or even kill your plant. Any pretreats could also do severe damage.
are there usually other shrubs growing in the drainage area? it shouldnt be a problem unless the detergent is changing the ph, nutrient lockout could be an issue. But if other plants can grow there marajuanna probably has a good chance, did you know they plant hemp of burried landfills? the plant is good at absorbing toxins and growing in toxic soil...
I water my shrubs using gray water (water from washing machine) but always divert that water when using bleach. Some people because they use gray water don't use bleach at all. Depends on your own situation. But good question is anything else growing in that area?
hell i would never put anything but clean water into my plants. i even use exclusivly reverse osmosis water.
