oh hell yea, thats what i'm talking about, quick question, you leave the leaves on while drying, are you going to trim those or smoke with your bud?

i heard somewhere that if you leave the leaves on while drying and cut them off later, you dont need to cure the buds.

I trimmed off the bigger water leaves (those showing a stem). I'm leaving those ones on while drying to promote even drying throughout the bud. Once they are dry, in about a week, I'll trim the leaf that is left off and save it for hash, and then cure the buds in glass jars.

Thanks for the rep.

thanks for sharing that tip, i'll remember that, +rep, what do you use for making hash, bubble net?
I use seven Bubblebags for the ice-water extraction. My neighbor uses a dry tumbler. I can't really tell who's hash is better; when I get done trying both of them I forgot what the first one tasted like. :-P

Next up for harvest is the Black Widow.

5.07 ounces total dry weight from one outdoor 4' Powerplant raised with Foxfarm and compost tea.

The rain is coming soon, so some other plants will be coming down too. I rolled a blunt with some popcorn nuggets out of the trim from this Powerplant earlier; fucking tasty, smooth, even-burning, and got me high as shit.

As soon as I can get the pictures from my camera to Photobucket, I'll show you how the Black Widow that we cut last week look after it is dried and trimmed. I'm also cutting down nine beautiful Jason King Purple's tomorrow, pics to follow.

Well I just got done cutting down these beautiful Jason King's Purples. Heres a "before" shot from last night:

And "after"...

Gonna be a few more days trimming the Black Widow until I know what the finished weight is, but it looks good :bigjoint: Keep checking back for more pics and don't hesitate if you have any questions!

EDIT: Oops, the top pic is of the Lavender! Still another week to go on those.
