where i would be growing i would not be able to go out twice a day and water the plants. And in cali it does not rain that often especially during growng season so that wouldnt be an option. there has to be some type of a ballon type watering bag because i have been told about it before but i forget who told me and what it was called.

you could buy a few drip systems.
they make plastic bottels, that have a spike, that you stick into the soil and it waters it for a month or a little bit more.
so you could show up every 3rd or 4th week and refill the bottle.

How about cutting a bunch of holes around the top half of a dead trunk and put plants all the way around. They could grow to look like one of those funky '70's house planters. Like tree branches.

The coloring of the plants would contrast would they not? Especially at fall like he said. Also, what about the infrared heat thing system thingy that the cops use to detect pot plants? Can't they just fly over, flash it, an bust you?

I think that he's saying to find a dead tree stump(nice place for termites and other bugs) and make holes in the top of it and put soil in it etc. etc. which would look very suspicious

As someone who has flown over Ohio and Western PA in prop planes quite a few times I think the real problem would be the pruning so the light can get in. If there is a lightning strike or broken main branch you can see it because it breaks the green canopy. Although I can only speak for East Coast forests.

To make it work you would have to start the plant indoors and move it out at 10" or so. Rig it so the plant itself sticks up out of the green while leaves cover the grow bag. There are lots of plants that grow on trees around here and it's not strange to see smaller plant heads poking out of the foliage.

IMO anyhow.

And sorry, I'm sarcastic 90% of the time. It's my nature. No'fens.

They grow in trees here but they use pine trees

Pine has the same infared sigature as weed so the eye in the sky can't see it.

i started a thread called "bucket in the tree" and got shit for posts. most of em said it was not worth hauling the water up there and stuff. i gonna do it.
the only reason people dont think its smart is because ther lazy. Plant in the trees for no Detection, infestations and other pests, and you get good sunlight.
the downsides are climbing or the pulley, carrying water and stuff up, AND FALLING. would'nt that suck

My frind considerd this method just for giggles like a year ago. I wonder where he heard of it. lotsa people doing it

yea, i have always thought that it wouldnt be very hard to do a tree grow.
i myself am a great climber and it would be an easy task to climb to the top of a tree, if not a fun one.
i always used to climb trees just for fun, and chill out in them. thats why i thought it was always a great idea to grow in a tree.
i mean i would much rather grow in a tree, than grow on the ground....where people are looking for them. i would rather grow indoors than grow out on the ground also. its to risky to grow outdoors!!( on the ground)
you never know if the feds are on to you. they could have your outdoor spot camped out for weeks and you wouldnt know it.then one day you just get busted as your in the middle of your watering routine.
thats why im all for growing in trees!, if you do it right, and are smart....your going to have alot of nice buds come harvest time.

bugs: i would say its less of a problem. i mean sure there will be bugs, but there are alot more bugs on the ground. (bugs stay close to moisture, which is at the ground)
if you grow in a tree, just spray the lower branches/leaves with an organic pesticide. or something else that keeps bugs away.
also you should go ahead and pee at the base of your tree, this will keep away any unwanted creatures from climbing your tree. anytime you have to pee while your in the woods...pee on yo tree:)
pee on yo tree nigga haha :leaf::hump: <shaking it off<<
