Question Creek Side Grow
I found a site near a little stream (Thats really sunny!!!) and the ground is full of clay, is that bad?? And if it is what can i do to help it?

how close to the creek? will the soil be constantly wet? if so, it is not smart to grow there. otherwise, you can dig a hole big enough to add in new soil. since clay is slow draining, you must make sure the roots can get enough air (pretty deep hole man)

clay is bad unless like orange said you can dig a big enough hole but you dont have to go far for water and the soil is rich if you can find some

Be careful of creek water, you never know what is in it. Around here it's full of runoff from the fields.

Weed would probably grow in clay, just not as well. You'd be better off using pots. I doubt the clay would allow very good drainage.

is there water going through were you want to plant it? cause if it is its a bad idea but yea you can just dig out the clay and replace it with some soil.
