I use the Advanced line, pretty much just like your setup, I noticed a little increase in yield with all the products, but it's a big investment.
If you were just getting started out I'd stick to the basics, and add big bud.
Dr. Hornby is the shit.
I've seen people get dramatic yield increase with just the big bud added to a three part.
I've only used the entire line once, but still use the Pirahna, tarantula, voodoo, bigbud, and scorpion.
Haha, someone saw this guy coming, when you put effort into making a decent grow mix,you won't need to lash out buying nutes, read everything in the organics section, you'll see what I mean.
Once you try black, you never go back.

Personally i think the whole AN line up is over rated over priced BS tbh.
But thats just my opinion.
I think using any more than four bottles of fert or additives is just plain madness and unnecessary.

I've used AN for a long time, before the 2part or the organic line when they just had the 3part and a few additives like overdrive, growthXL, and sensizym.
I disagree with the "more than 4 bottles" Just using the sensizym, 2part and bigbud is good, and just 4 bottles, but the other additives like sweetleaf, carbo load, pirahna, tarantula, voodoo, scorpion will definately increase flavor and yield.
If you haven't tried the big bud, it's pretty affordable, and I strongly recommend it, it's used from weeks 2-4 and definately will give you a HUGE increase in yield.
As far as the cost of AN products. I also agree they are a bit overpriced, but I'm okay with shelling out a few extra bucks. Mainly because AN is doing extensive research on products and making drastic improvements in the fertilizer industry. Basically I've been investing in better products for the future.
How's that for a good debate
Absolutely right there, if you only try one thing by Advanced Nutrients, it should be Big Bud. I never approached their stuff with a closed mind, but Big Bud will open anyone's eyes. It's just plain awesome.

It's their R&D dept that costs so much, and it doesn't make much sense to whine about that.
Just my 2c, anyway.
Take Canna, they have a multi million euro research & development facility testing nutes and hydro systems and how allsorts of strains perform with them, testing potencies of the strains, the terpene contents, flavanoids, thc, cbd, cbn etc etc, using gas chromatography or whatever its called, theyve been around for donkeys years, have a range for every scenario and dont cost half as much as AN and use only a couple of bottles and tried and tested, proven to give excellent results by millions of growers worldwide
Soil/Compost-Organic: Bio-canna grow and bloom + Bio-canna boost £75 = exellent results.
Soil/Compost-Non-Organic: Canna terra vega and flores + pk 13/14 £30 = exellent results.
Any hydro setup: Canna hydro vega and flores + pk 13/14 £35 = exellent results.
Coco: Canna coco nutrient + pk 13/14 £21 = exellent results.
Thats just Canna, theres loads of others that dont try to rip ppl off by making so many different bottles and saying you need them all!
I may one day try their basic grow and bloom ferts with one or two AN additives (only if i see some certification that it is 100% organic) im sorry but someone who buys that whole AN range is nothing but a mug whos a classic example of someone being sucked in by the big money fert industry.
But thats my take on it all.

I'm definately not closed minded, I was planning on trying out the Canna line, but you being in Europe it probably makes AN expensive, just like the Canna line and dutch line in the US. The bases cost about the same.
I'm going to get a liter of the biocanna and the pk and try it out vs. the AN line.
I was going to try the new GH crap, but a lot of people like the Canna, and I started with the crappy GH 3part years ago, then switched to AN, and haven't found anything better.
I did notice much better root mass with the addition of the tarantula and pirahna, don't know much about Canna nutes, but I imagine they don't have as many options for additives and boosters. There are a bunch of new products that I haven't researched, being caught up with a nutrient line that works for me.
I have no reason to change my setup, so I haven't been paying attention to companies other than AN, and shit it's hard to keep up with just them.
So what do you use Londenor?
What should I test out?
I think you should at least try out the big bud on a couple of yours.
That's a good point MrHowardMarks. I've noticed a lot of people complain about the cost of Advanced Nutrients stuff but I never really understood why. I guess it makes sense that the local products where you are would cost less and the ones from across the pond would cost more.
I'd like to see how things go for you on the Canna/Advanced Nutrients comparison.
Oh, and I think everyone ought to try out Big Bud at least once.
