can i use this for little white critters running around in my dirt... and do i put it in the dirt or around the pots or what...


i dont think they are spider mites... my plants are still fine.. but i dont no what to do.. theres a few of them in each of my pots..

SoSoStoned.. DE is really good stuff. It's like millons of tiny sharp rocks, that if a pest walks across - means slow death from leaking body fluids.

But since you have visible tiny critters on the move, I'd hit them with Prytheum powder first. Then follow up, by mixing in a few tablespoons of DE into first 1/2 inch of your topsoil.

DE is more of a barrier / S&M slow death for bugs. The Prytheum Powder will take um out in under 24 hours. Better safe than sorry.
