Ohso, Since you're on the "do not call" list, I'll ask ya here. I'm off to Home Depot for some dolomite, and am going to pick up a large Rubbermaid tub & lid. I am gonna put some 2 or 3 in holes in the lid, I just wanna know if I need to put some vent holes in the tub as well? I am going to transfer the 5 gal bucket worm farms into it.

TheLastPirate..... I'm on what list ?? Anyway... Your worm bin will need ventilation holes, top, sides & bottom. Just use a very tiny drill bit, the smallest one you have and make at least, 25 holes on top, 10 on each large side and 25 on the bottom. You will also need a shallow, run off catcher to place under your bin. Take the run off (liquid) you will occassionally get and pour it in your compost pile.

Ohso I got my bin up and running. It's been going two months plus, with 3 pounds of worms in it. I've already taken like 20 pounds of castings out. This was easier than I though it was going to be. Thanks again.


How long before the worms start making more worms ?
