Flushing once a week seems excessive, but if that's what your doing, and it works for ya great! I do agree with you that too much organic nutes are bad, too much of anything will be bad, I'm just not sure I agree with your reasoning. Wouldn't one of the benefits of growing organically be less salt buildup. I think it was said previously somewhere....you have to treat the soil as a living thing, and feed the soil. The soil will feed the plant. I know I fed my plants on the last week prior to harvest, and they taste sooo sweet. So far as soil, I am reusing my soil, If you've got a composter to run it through before reuse, all the better, but unless it's infested or infected you can just add new medium to the old, mix it up and use it, after all that's what farmers do every year. after you veg and flower your soil will have been fed for 4 months.
the soil is burned. discard this salted soil and dont reuse. if you skip the flushing and soil ph gets too high your buds will suffer.
