Picked up a bottle of 5-1-1 alaskan fish emulsion.
anyone use this? any reasons i shouldnt?

I use to use it but I had trouble with burning. It's very acidic so you need a lot of pH up. I now use cooked bone meal at 6-12-0 and am having a lot better results, with no burning, I use 1 teaspoon of molasses per gallon for potassium.A 4 dollar thing of bone meal can be used for 50 plus gallons of soil! I use 2-3 large tablespoons per gallon

thanks for the info, it said organic and no burning so thats why i got it.
I have bone meal but i didnt think you could add it to water.
whats the purpose of cooking it?
I'm trying to get a cheap easy feeding solution for my ladies.

I use a muskie fish emulsion in veg. It is smelly but the plants like it.
