Default Organic Fertilizer Help (VIDEOMAN/ANYONE!)
Hello,

I have chosen to use this organic recipe and replace the bone meal with bird crap I have been saving up. I am not sure what serving size of each constituent I should add to a pot that is filled with dirt about 11cm high x 17cm wide. Could someone help me with the serving size of these materials? I'm guessing that since it is concentrated I need less, right?

2 - 4 - 2???
4 parts coffee grounds
1 part bird crap
1 part wood ashes

Please help!!!!!

Thanks!!!!

the coffee grounds and the bird shit need to be composted before using them. Stick with the bone meal, that's good stuff, I use molasses to supplement potassium. Be careful with the ash, make sure it doesn't mess up the pH too much. Haven''t you asked the bird shit question 3 times now?

Yes and I will continue to ask it until I get a different answer. I want to use the raw stuff because I don't have time to wait. I will just use less of everything since it is concentrated. I don't have any bone meal and I don't want to drop a dime finding it. I have everything else.

bone meal cost 3 bucks they have it at walmart. Don't you understand that materials need to be broken down before nutrients are readily available to plants? When the coffee grounds are rotting in the soil there is a good chance the roots will rot as well.

So you are going to ask the question repeatedly until you get the answer that you want? If you don't care about the correct answer then why are you asking the question? You obviously don't care what peoples opinions are so just throw it together and let us know how it went. Or better yet I'll just give you the answer you are looking for so you can stop asking; I suggest 4 parts coffee grounds, one part bird crap, and one part wood ashes, just mix that with your soil and it should work out just as well as you expect it to. Good luck.

I did son, in trace amounts so it should be ok. They put raw shit in agricultural applications so I don't understand why it won't work here. I put in about half a teaspoon of each. The substances are as follows: bird poo, magnesium sulfate, coffee grinds, and wood ash.
