i put seaWEED in my compost pile just to give it a little extra kick.
i learned from my grandfather and his gardens were always kickass
but i think the composting helps distribute any salts in it adding directly to soil may take some trial and error. try it on some small clones and see what happens

cool thanks, i picked up some from the beach this morning after being spoiled with perfect surf i have 3 composts going so i am going to bring trash b ags to the beach with me but i have to remember that shit is HEAVY and walking up stairs with it sucks
do you think it could be pressed of all of its nutrients, or blended, i am going to check out those methods, i imagine thats what all the commercial fertilizers that use kelp do, either puree the shit or press it.
well i boiled down all my sea weed until it was wilted. the left over water is no my fertilizer, i am going to add about a gallon of water to it to dilute it a little bit
seaweed teas are an awsome boost for your plants.
i like the compost better i usually dont add too much if any fertilzers to my grow just good compost is all you need to produce good bud.if you compost seaweed into your soil it will be enough nutes for the entire grow. the only addition lately during budding i've been watering w/ 3tbs of brown sugar per gal and have seen a huge difference in the buds swelling. this grow i diddnt use the brown sugar and my buds are not as bulky as usual. so i'm goin back to using it

hey thanks for that killer tip, if you use brown sugar, can that replace using molasses? i tossed all my wilted kelp into my trash can compost and poured a little bit of tea over it so i hope that makes my earth worm homies happy
im going to pour a little bit on my lawn in a tiny patch and see the results before i give it to my plant
