i just picked up a free compost bin and i loaded that bitch up with worms, a bit of soil and of course worm food. i am so excited to make my own soil, is it possible to use just the worm castings as soil, or just a soil additive

1/2 dried worm crap/ 1/2 big chunk perlite. Great for veg...

The guys at my local hydroshop are growers who know how to take care of there people---If they dont have what I need they will order it for me and have it at the store in 4 days----I help them with alot of questions and research and they give me a great deal-----it all works out-----------Ask your guys to order you in some.

when searching to buy kelp or seaweed products, make sure it is in the "meal form". I know that kelp meal has many trace minerals and secondary nutes that are leached away in the normal "plain" kelp supplements.

i used to use it as a mulch outside ,after giving it a damn good wash first, plants seemed to love the stuff ,but a bit on the smelly side for a while,now i am in the hills i dont get the chance to get it ,maybe i will make a trip down the beach as it is winter here so a lot should be washed up
