Default Watering With Wood Ash
Has anyone watered with wood ash before??? I'd like to add some to my Iguana Juice Water Mix to increase Nitrogen... How much ash per gallon of water???

Maybe I jumped the gun... I thought I remembered reading that wood fire ash was a good source of nitrogen... Maybe Im just confused..Is this true or not...? C'mon you organic growers help a brother out!

Thats good shit, I dont know if you can use it in the water itself but I use it with the soil. It works good. Not sure how much, I just keep adding it till I can see its in there when im done.
This is what my book says: marijuana OUTDOOR GROWERS GUIDE, by S.T. ONER...
"Wood ashes work very quickly to raise the ph, are high in micronutreints and are, in general, just good for the soil."

wood ash is really good in the soil..high potassium and pure carbon in a very available form. I'd never heard of watering with it....I suddenly came into the world's supply this last 2 days!!!!!!! I'm gonna' get a 50 gal. can of it for my next 2 compost piles...now I won't have to wait for next winters wood ash.
