actually a lot of people do this... It gets rid of bugs, and it's good for nitrogen levels it's organic, but it would stink your garden up. lol.

just set it up last nite, with banana peels too. they're supposed to influence females. it dont stink too bad, even close up.

sorry, should have clarified, if you tent old banana peels with your seedlings, it's supposed to influence your plants to be females.

Well just so you know I just read a really fascinating post describing just how pre-determined the sex of a weed plant is... and it is I feel your pain though, I've always put so much trouble into manipulating things so there'd be more females, but I guess it's all for nada.
