I've had mixed results with the MG Moisture Control . . . in fact, due to some bad storage at the WalMart (I assume) this soil has caused me some burn issues. See, one of the bags I bought turned out to be sopping wet. Of course, I attempted to dry it out, splitting it into 3rds and stirring it often. Satisfied with the texture, I transplanted some clones (2nd TP) into it and next day, the TP's showed signs of a problem, yelllowing, canoe-ed leaves, and now, a little browning on some edges. My theory, the months of being stored wet dissolved all the time release elements at once. It was driving me nuts, and I can't be sure this is what happened.
Anyway, should you find yourself with a sopping wet MG moisture control soil (It'll be seeping out of the bottom corners of the bag) take it back and exchange it, or thoroughly dry it out.
Affected plant next to healthy one.http://www.rollitup.org/attachment.p...1&d=1208887505

SWIM (someone who isnt me) has yet to grow. But, after extensive research and reading through many different forums, SWIM has concluded that Miracle Grow sucks. Fox Farm is where it's at.

You bought the wrong one. You need "Organic Choice Potting Mix"

So do we accept that MG organic really is organic? If so then would there be worries about burning?

Pdiddy:
May want to start your own link for your 15 day-olds.
but i couldn't resist answering your question even though it doesn't belong to this thread.
If it was me and my usual high perlite potting mix, I would:
Use a light dilution of seaweed extract (1/8 of full dose) and bat guano tea, I usually go lighter on than the directions and always use RO water.
I would then dilute this tea by 1/4 (1 part tea to 4 parts RO water) and give my babies a good spraying.
NOTE: only do this when soil has dried out between waterings adequately.
The Spraying of guano tea may freak your plant out a bit but it will have more resistance to all kinds of parasites and bugs (even spider mites). The bats eat bugs. For the plant the small (microscopic) peaces of bugs going into the leaves and stems is like an inoculation against the bug that may later attack it.
I spray before watering, I also top dress, but that is another story. And always a pinch of lime at least one a week.

Oh...never mind....your useing MG soil....you are screwed.

Kidding....Peace out.
