If it's cow manure from a bag in a store, I would be concerned about it having salt, which they feed the cattle. I think the shroom compost is better. Unless this is some organic micro cow situation.
Which is better, Cow manure or mushroom compost? Both products say they have the same amount of NPK at 0.5 in each catagory. My concerns are this. Ive read the cow manure has e coli in it and thats bad? But it has more micro bacteria than the mushrooms compost because the mushrooms were once sterilized. Which is better to use long term? I want to plant directly into the compost Im just not sure f it will burn

Cow shit is initially very salty, beware.
mushroom compost all the way. Its bomb, I use it.
anybody else? How do I use the mushroom compost
The mushroom compost is good but just like the cow manure the salts can build if using it for a long time. If you read the 3lb's jog guide I believe it is they talk alot about mushroom compost and said they love it, but after a while they got some toxicity. Good luck !
