What soil are you using? What is the ph of your water? What nutrients are you using? What seeds are you using? Other than that sounds good to me...
Seriously tho lol im new to the site and to gardening however i am not exactly new to the science(like basic nutes, lights, water, etc knowledge) and common sense aspects. Im not saying im an expert tho; infact im a begginer. This will be my first run and hopefully a successfull one with everyones help and advice! Anyway just posting this to introduce myself as i will be sharing my experiences, ideas, (possibly pics), etc. Also wanted to introduce a little of my medical background. A few years back the passenger of a roll over accident. We were tboned leaving a traffic light by somone who ran the red light doing approx. 70 mph (very sudden and forceful impact; they were driving an suv). As a result i suffered through pain for roughly 2 years before any physicians or md's actually realized it wasnt in my head. I had surgery on my shoulder to repair cartiledge and shave my clavicle(coller bone) away from my shoulder. Since then its naturally deterierated(spell check) increasing the gap between my bone structure. I was recently diagnosed(another two years later:[ ) with Facets disease caused by accident. Your facets are basically cushions for your spinal structure when you twist and turn from what i understand thus far(not alot of time to research recently). Facets disease is degenerative unfortunately for me. To sum it up i suffer from chronic pain and severe anxiety as a result of all this. As of now i have no other options(cures) for my problems other than medical herb. It also helps with my physical therapy tremendously!! If you are reading this i appreciate you taking a couple minutes of your time to hear someone out. now for the fun part
Current setup: A dedicated room approx 10 x 12 or something close with a window unit(very well sealed)
Secret jardin tent
600w HID MH/HPS
Wind tunnel exhaust fan
Cylinder shaped tower fan(for circulation)
6 5gal "smart pots" the ones that are supposed to air prune roots etc.
2 random bag pots found around house(not by choice;emergency situations
1 carbon filter
Thats about all for my first post as of now. My next post will be on the custom soil blend im using as well as nutes, water, etc. i will be using two different organic methods and comparing results. I will be updating as quickly as possible and hopefully have some pics for everyone in the near future. Thanks for reading my post and im looking forward to sharing knowledge with everyone!!!

Welcome! you're in a good place and among friendsthere are a few sticky's at the top of the organic forum, you will find a treasure trove of information there, any questions you have that you cant find answers to feel free to post and good luck with your run! i recommend subcools seeds from the attitude under tga seeds. the subforum on top of the organic section is his area, so you can see info direct from the breeder.
Thanks for the warm welcoming! As i mentioned i would be updating with nutes, soil, etc. So lets start out with tap water=7.5 ph/1000ppm Distilled=7.0 ph/5 ppm. Yea i know the tap water isnt that great(better than others ive heard tho and its working ok). Ok now lets get to soil. Im using two different methods as i stated above. One of those methods i will be using a "super soil"(based off sub cools;custom mix tho). The other method i will try is using basic soil blends with liquid ferts. The liquid ferts im using are from general hydroponics and called "GO"(general organics) box. Most of them are vegan from my understanding.
The soil mix recipe im using for the liquid ferts is:
2 parts local nursery mix(canadian sphagnum peat, gypsum, dolomitic limestone and perlite)
1 part happy frog potting soil (contents and %'s should be able to be found online)
1/2 part earthworm castings ("wiggle worm" soil builder)
1/2 part Jamaican Bat guano
At the moment the exact recipe I used for super soil is misplaced. Ill do my best for time being.
1 part local nursery mix
1 part happy frog
Earth juice potassium
1 cup Jamaican Bat Guano
1/4 part wiggle worm castings
1 tsp epsoma organic tomatoe tone
Happy frog steamed bone meal
Hi-yield blood meal
a pinch of sulfur
All i can think of at the moment(will edit as soon as recipe is located)
So far its been building itself for 16 days.
Moving onward the liquid fert. soil run off was measured at 6.5 ph and about 1200 ppm using tap. I started the seedlings off with tap water(dechlorinated of course). im now using the distilled with liquid ferts mixed in along with cal&mag. I was hoping it wouldnt stress them with the change in water? Any ways i have a slight idea of what the seeds are most are bag seeds. I know there is some blue cheese, blueberry, lemon kush and master kush. Due to my location i think its a little sketchy to get them from a breeder(not even sure if they will send them to my location). Although if this goes as well as planned i may go through with ordering some. Oh yea before it slips from my memory im using a hortilux "blue" bulb. Not sure exactly which hps bulb ill be getting yet. Further on all seedlings have graduated imo they are a few inches tall now avg of 4" ; i just fed them for the first time yesterday. I think i waited a little too long but better safe than sorry with baby girls. Now i did have one problem when they first started breaking ground. one day the ac got turned off somehow and temps reached 95 for short period. the soil was actually pretty cool tho so i think they will do fine. Other than that temps have stayed at 74-76 f and rh of 54-60%
purrrrrfect. As of now thats all i can think of to update you guys on other than pics which ill have hopefully by tomorrow. One question for you guys before i go though; i didnt think they should smell until flowering? like its not potent but u can smell the potential hah they broke ground on the 19th and 20th of june so they arent that old.
Another question i just thought of that im unsure on still; i know u cant tell for sure until flowering but are there any early signs of sex i can look for?
eh, look for balls or pistils, they'll show when they show unless you go out of your way to force em
ahhh thanks for the tips. I didnt know that, kinda nervous about the herm thing now. They are looking pretty well so far sorry now pics yet(hopefully ill find time for); i live a very busy life. Anyway ive got 8 pots in the tent so id honestly be happy if just half came out female. Im in a lot of severe pain on the daily and poor quality of life(not able to do the career i chose, hobbies, etc) so id be histerical if i harvest enough to last me till next harvest) I also failed to mention if i harvest enough i will be posting results of a Bubble and/or BHO extraction(which i prefer with my pain/anxiety) That makes me feel alot better about the order though i really appreciate you sharing that!
http://www.rollitup.org/concentrates...a-ice-wax.html heres the best method, make bubble that is bho quality, dabbable..
word thanks for the tips again!! Really looking forward to the bubble high and the relief it brings!!! Another question about feeding, as said before im using GO box by general hydroponics. ive heard ppl say they are on feed/water/feed/water etc. Now from my understanding your only supposed to feed with this product once a week. So question is can you use these more than once a week? like i was thinking maybe feed twice a week full feed at beginning and like 1/4 or 1/8 strenght half way to next full feed. So far ive only feed once; i should have fed twice but was afraid i would burn seedlings. I think if needed ill just veg for an extra week. Thanks for all the support Malignant
