Deadhead OG and Atomic Northern Light Grow- Fully Organic

Thanks trich, the dead head og nuggies look better but Im real impressed on the output of these northern light plants. I'm trying to keep it oldschool on this grow organic practices and classic strains

thank you...I can't wait to get this one done not just for the smoke but for the fact I'm moving this weekend and have a bigger room to play with!

Moving can be a pain, but it sure does pay off big sometimes!

yah I live in a crack neighborhood right now so thats a plus to get outta there I am pretty scared of getting robbed so I only have 6 plants...new place is a fortress and I already have materials for 20-30 plants...so as soon as I can harvest these ladies I can start on a bigger scale

i got some time to finish them up. I was thinking about a week until they really get full... I'm gonna take the proper time. The bad news is I won't be able to take pics this week

how many days have these girls been flowering? From my experiance, and I've got 6 grows under my belt now, is that for optimum meds they should flower 5-10 days longer than the suggested flower time by the breeder. Most 55-60 day strains i flower for 65 days. Either way your super duper close to the finish...

hahaha I won't let you down...both are 60 day flower.. One of the products i'm using Grower's Secret Professional has apparently been shown to get you through flower sooner. I originally called bullshit because genetics are genetics...but I'm definitely real close. Gonna keep an eye on the scope and get them when they are ready.

they're not quite ready yet Ill post some pics tonight they are looking incredible! Ive been meaning to keep up with this but with moving and setting up my new room I just haven't had the time. Stay tuned ill def get some pics up tonight

Quick update: photos 1 and 2 are the atomic northern lights pic 3 is the deadhead...sorry for shitty pics but when you ask someone to do it you dont get the best results. The one thing i Noticed is the yellowing of the leaves. I started flushing before I moved and they have been yellowing since (kinda expected that) what I didn't expect was that they would take this long to mature...this has definitely been a hassle trying to move these things around town while moving locations. I tried to go to harvest before the move but they look just too damn good to cut

Hey Beej, great looking girls man. your time frame is close to mine, I picked up up Deadhead OG from Harborside. Its a great strain and much easier than bluedream that I am growing next to it. today is day 61 of flower and they should be ready by Friday. Its a 60 day strain but I counted from day one of 12/12 instead of when I noticed the first hairs so its about 65 day strain from day 1 of 12/12. I am not organic but would lover your opinion on my Deadhead as its my first attempt to grow anything. :edit: pictures are from day 60.

hey mrecio looking good in terms of overall health, trichs look damn good...I noticed the led's u run those full time? The one thing I notice is your lack of yield...I got my clones from harborside too and mine are def a lot bigger. Whats your set-up and nutes? Let me know that and I can give you some insight. But overall your first attempt? you got a strong base to grow on dude it looks fantastic! I say the flowering date is a guide look at ur trichs. When they are almost all cloudy they are time to cut. In that middle pick looks like you are there (or it could be a reflection)

Thanks for the positive feedback I appreciate it. I did research off and on for a year before I was confident to try a first attempt. I am doing a SoG using clones with no veg time and ran into an issue my first week with slime, by the time I got it corrected the plants were fully in flower and never stretched an inch. Because of that i debated on stopping and cutting some new clones but push on for the experience and confidence it would give me. my next round the plants will go through 1 week of veg after clone and should get a nice stretch which will help yield. I use the LED for flower and a T5 for veg, you only see it in the one picture because it was off in the first two and I was just using the camera flash. I was unsure of the LED but it has proven to me that it can produced great quality buds. my moms are about 3 feet and have to be pruned every 3 weeks or they outgrow their tent. i didn't think I would get that kind of growth with the 5.5 inch pots they are in.

Setup is Ebb and Flow in a 2x2 table with 5.5 inch pots. Nutrient line up is Dyna-Gro using bloom, protekt, mag pro @ 750-900ppm on .5 scale depending on the week and tap water. I am happy with the nutrients as PH has been rock solid and I can go 2 weeks between reservoir changed and maybe 1 ph adjustment. Light is an Area51 LED and is 180 actual watts. Temps range from 73-82 and humidity is between 40-55%. If i forgot anything let me know, I welcome any advice you could give.

damn dude sounds like you got it pretty much dialed in. The only think I wonder why veg for so short? If you went a little longer you would have better roots, stronger stocks, and more nodes.

I don't think we are in the same bays. I'm in the u of p. I do reside on the green bay though!
