Whats wrong with my leaves? Subcools super soil

Week 2 of flowering, using subcools super soil (the only difference is my base, which is promix)

Are my leaves supposed to look like this?

I suspect PH problems (only let super soil cook for 40 days) but I want yalls opinion. This blueberry. I have fed them once with an AACT, outside of that I feed them RO with silica, up to 50ppm, PH'd to 6.0-6.5

well for one they're not in my grow room

looks okay from here. what do you think looks abnormal?

Well, I was thinking the ridges of the leaves (up top) looked off, like it was experiencing either a PH shift, or too high of a PH? If it is the PH being off, how can I correct that quickly in an organic soil grow?

I know everything is slower with organics, but what could I do in the short term to lower the PH?

Looks like the roots are starting to hit the bottom mix(super soil). Usually around the end of the stretch phase(2 or 3 weeks into flower) my more nute sensitive strains will start to get the sides roll up and slight droop you have if I use to much super soil or dont let it cook.. 40 days is plenty of cook time for super soil. Another thing to keep in mind is when you feed aact ( which you are the man for using they rock) that its like openimg up the feeding floodgates for the roots.. So with this strain I would use about half the super soil amount next time and this wont happen. They will bounce back out of this adjustment period with a bang of new growth , and you will be amazed.. Im sorry for the tambling run on sentences, hope I was understandable. Why do you want to fix something that isn't broke?

The RO water isn't the best thing for organic soil. Is your tap water that bad, or do you just 'think' RO is better?

Dead water on a living soil just doesn't compute.

chemical free, slightly acidic, well aged aquarium water. indoor organic grower's best friend IMO

well, my tap water varies from 150ppm-350ppm throughout the year, and I used to use a few different hydro methods so imo I needed the stability of RO's PH (my tap water would shoot up a whole point in 24 hours).

Should I be using additives to my RO (besides silica)??

The silica alone should be fine. I use it also.

Perhaps add a bit of tap to the RO? Like 3/4RO and 1/4 tap?

That's a lot of variation. 150PPM is OK, 350PPM is not. Crazy tap water!

you should throw some molasses in there . Maybe some liquid karma too ! Wouldn't hurt.

yeah molasses would help your grow...i'm using supersoil too and my purple og's leaves did the same thing but nothing to worry about...looks healthy to me. in veg, i foliar sprayed my with insect frass and humic acid. It helped (I think )You may want to consider a soil ph meter or a soil ph test kit. if you find that your ph is too low...top dress with some dolomitic lime but it may be too late for this...adjusting the ph organically is a slow process and top dressing with lime should be done early while your still in veg.

Nothing is wrong with your plants.

If you are growing Blueberry based off DJ Short's genetics, then what you are seeing is actually pretty minimal. DJ AShort Blueberry is known for clawing, whorling, etc., and is normal for those genetics.

But yeah, your plants are looking healthy man. Stick to Wet's advice.....RO water sucks IMHO and IME. Doesnt buffer and slashes out the all-important micronutrient set.

It looks pretty good so far....really good bud formation for 2 weeks into flower.
Besides if that picture is taken under hps, it kinda makes things look a little yellow.
I noticed you are using pro-mix.
I have had major problems with pro-mix, noticed that if there a sour smell to it, or a mulchy cedar smell, it will stunt
your plants, cause whole plant yellowing, also necrotic leaf spots....
There is nothing you can do if this happens, ferts., lime, trace minerals, cal-mag, wont help.
Only thing that works is carefully shake soil from rootball, and transplant into clean mix.
Pro-mix,bx n hp, should have a fresh earthy peat smell if its good.
I didnt notice that from your picture, but just something to share in case you run into this problem.

Also sub's soil mix can be a little strong for nute sensative strains.

Wetdog -I don't use tap water at all any more because when I use it in a tub with airstones the PH shifts too much, and I do not trust my local water company to remove bad things, whatever they may be. I started using RO doing DWC, so since I have the filter installed, I might as well use it! I know from your posts your usually right, but I have to disagree with ya on the RO system, I love the hell out of it!

Snafu -As far as micro nutrients I use azamite in my teas as well as in the soil mix. As far as micro life I know my teas provide a full range of fungi and bacteria.

Also I do use molasses in my teas, are yall suggesting I use it with my water too? The only problem I could see with that is storage life for my water res.

Currently I just put 25gallons of RO into a rubbermade, add silica to 50ish ppm and PH it to 6.0 with citric acid powder. Pretty easy and plants haven't showed any signs of deficiency, just some signs of the soil PH being a bit high.

My theme this year is "all natural made easy" and so far it's working out a heck of a lot better than my last DWC run did.

Oh yeah, and I am using Dutch passions blueberry, I take it DJ short has better blueberry?

Oh and to Jpill, I use 20ml of Liquid karma per 5 gallons of tea, still trying to use up some I bought for my first grow with the botanicare line.

The leaf edges standing up mean you have high growroom temps. If you lower the temps the edges will go down.
