Is it possible, when doing an indoor organic grow to only use natural light?

I have my babies sitting on a windowsill for part of the day, and they seem to like that as much (if not more than) sitting in the grow box I made for them.

I live in CNY, and its still a little cold out (30's most of the time, I move them to the box at night)

Experience anyone? Please and thanks!

Ya with proper light it is possible to finish a plant inside but you should let it veg inside untill the weather is better and you can plant it outside

I was curious about this myself

I have 2 windows in my apartment that capture all of the afternoon sun from about 11AM on....I've thought about sticking my plant into the window to catch some of those sun rays but I don't know if the light passes through the window enough for it to make a difference....or if it would be worth taking them out from under lights to roll the dice with the sun....

My plants appear to be loving the natural sunlight.

Planting them outdoors isn't really an option for me (tiny yard, lots of neighbors)...

I guess until they start looking like they arn't okay...I'm gonna let them go. Each day, they are bent in a different direction (following the sun) which is the only negative (?) as far as I can tell.

well it would be best to get them in your yard as in the window they probally wont create the best buds and will probably cause you problems with stretching but if your just in it for a little smoke should work just fine

Yeah, I'm not looking for a pound a month set up here...I just wanna save on some bud, and gain some respect for the plant by watching it grow

My yard isn't really an option...if I wern't so lazy, I'd take a photo and show you the 6 inches (plus) snow in my lawn

Personally I don't think natural light will produce enough lumens indoors....maybe or maybe not. Insuring that your plant get enough lumens is very important.

Ya forget outside if its that cold..Sorry im in California,but you can pull it off if the window gets enough light but the max you will get is like a quad and thats if your lucky,your probally looking at more like a couple of grams but good luck and best wishes
