hey guys,

i have already posted this in general marijuana growing but i havent got much reception or help from there. i thought this would probably be a more suitable place seeing as im doing all organic. any pointers or tips will be much a appreciated

im growing a few autoflowers this year outside. i have some blue himalaya diesel and G13 northen lights.

well today is transplant day and im not to sure how much bone meal i should use? the ratio is 1-2-1. i think its actual ratio is 8-12-8, i havent got the packet near me at the moment. im using a 6 gallon bucket.

i have compost that i have been saving for about a year. i have sived it and it is ready to use. what i wanted to know is how much of the bone meal do you think i should add to the 6 gallon bucket, im going to mix it in together. i did get told a handfull to should be good, but i just want some other opinions

once the bone meal is mixed in apparently i wont have to add any nutes until another 4-6 weeks and then you just add more bone meal. if needed.
my compost has got alot of goodies in anyway from left over bones and what not kept for a year in a compost bucket.

another question is do you think it will be okay to use just bone meal with that ratio seeing as they are autos. im trying to do an all organic grow.

so basically can someone give me a hand with the transplating compost to bone meal ratio.
and also if bone meal and compost will be good for the grow.

thanks people, i look forward to hearing your replys

peace

How much bone meal you use is determined by the nutrients in the medium your using. So if you created a good balance compost a hand full or two of bone meal could be sufficient for the grow and may not. If I where planting in straight compost other than a little lime I wouldn't add any thing until I saw what was needed. Then I would use teas to supplement if needed.
