Thumbs up Official organic soil mix thread !
Greetings, this thread is created for one main purpose, and i hope it will help hundreds if not thousands of people seeking advice on organic soil mixes. To make this thread really work, anyone who wants to post the basics of how they grow must list the basics in a nice and easy organized way. Start with what you plant the seedlings in, then list what you transplant to and so on. I will demonstrate my method of growing in a nutshell.

Strain- White Widow

Seeds sprouted in a damp napkin stored in a ziplock in the dark at 85% for 2 days.

Seed sprouts moved to Jiffymix potting soil mixed with 10 percent perlite. No nutrients. Seedlings receive only water for 1 1-2 to 2 weeks under two 12 inch florescent tubes 3 inchs away on a 18on/6 off schedual.

Seedlings transplanted into 8 inch pot after 2-3 weeks. The soil that the seedlings are transplanted in is made up of 65% Fox Farm Ocean Mix, 25% Perlite, 10% vermiculite. under 400watt MH 18/6.

I follow the foxfarm feeding program here with the same nutrients www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf . Is it possible to add molassas when flowing begins ?

That is the stage i am at, and they are doing very healthy. I hope this thread helps people.

85 degrees, sorry. thats the temp i keep then in. Hello no, why would you want to crack your seeds ? I have 100% success rate sprouting seeds, the only time they dont sprout is when they are bad. Sprouting seeds is the easiest part. And yes its totally good sprouting in the dark. Did u forget seeds naturally sprout in the dark when they are burried in the soil ?
