Default Composting with Phoenix worms
Ok during my quest for knowledge. Especially that of composting, I have built a worm compost bin and put some red wigglers in there.

Upon my reading I found out about Phoenix Worms (Black Super Fly Larvae), I found out they are great for composting.

Info on them can be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermetia_illucens

They are great because they really go through organic waste incredibly fast, you can then feed there waste to the worms and they will finish the job.

They are great because they break down what the worms normally eat to much smaller portions for the worms to compost.

You can also add to their bin what you can't to a worm bin Meat, cheese, etc

I think it is definitely worth sharing this as it can really help with composting

Anyway tell me what you think

I also have to share this video with you, it shows how fast they can compost

Tell me what ya think

sounds like a really good idea but could you do it indoors?
also found this on wiki thought it was interesting "The soldier fly has no functioning mouth parts and instead spends its adult lives in search of mates and reproducing"

They definitely can be used inside.

I am planning on setting a separate bin and then order some.

It will definitely make composting much faster and more efficient.
