Default spirulina
hey all,

question: has anyone tried using spirulina as a supplement to their nutrient regime? it's apparently used as a feed supplement in aquaculture/-ponics, and so i'm guessing that its high concentrations of complete protein amino acids, fatty acids, and minerals (particularly potassium) might make it a good candidate for an organic/veganic/biodynamic (take yer pick) grow...

your thoughts anyone?

cheers
-g

" Spirulina is 65-71 percent complete protein, compared to beef’s 22 percent protein. The algae is a source of all eight essential amino acids, as well as chelated minerals, natural plant sugars, trace minerals and enzymes. It’s easily assimilated by the body. Spirulina contains potassium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, manganese, selenium, iron and phosphorus. It is also rich in chlorophyll "

Sounds like it would be good to let it cook in a super soil recipe.
