Default Alaska Fish Fertilizer
i recently bought some alaska fish fertilizer concentration is 5-1-1. what im curious about is, The water out of my reverse osmosis system comes out at a PH of 7.6! which is much to high. what i am wondering is if anyone know is the fish fertilizer will help lower the PH. i dont have a PH test strip. only an aquarium PH testing kit.

Thanks in Advanced!

While I'm unsure about the pH effect of AFF with your water I can say this for sure. I love growing organic ganja. My water with no fert added is 7.8 and 3 ppm. I use and much aprove of AFF as well. I say all that to say this. I've completed grows in which I pHed my water religiously and completed grows in which I've never bothered to get my pH meter out of the case. And I've found no major differences between the two. I don't think it's the pH as much as the ppm that matters. If your water if fairly pure, approx. 25 ppm or less, with no chlorine, chloramine, sodium, etc., your plants should be just fine. I do recommend the use of CalMag with organic soil. Keep in mind that I'm no professional grower and this is merely my 2 cents. Best of luck.

Its no problem at all. I don't know much but I like to help out when I can. My nutes consist of High N bat guano, high P bat guano, Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed, and AFF. I also use Calmag, molasses, and Rooters Mychorraize as supplements.

Oh yeah, and worm castings mixed in with my soil. Forgot about that one. AFF is Alaska Fish Fert. Calmag is made by Botnicare I believe. I get it and my guanos from my local grow shop. You can order them online though.
