Hello all!

I got a few questions for you guys and gals. Starting up a new op, got my strain picked out and lighting so far. I'm leaning towards the Botanicare line of nutes, but have a few questions. I will be growing in either coco or soil not sure yet which route we are gonna go for, but leaning towards the coco. This is what i have picked out so far:

cal mag plus
liquid karma
power plant
power flower
blast off
clearx

Will these nutes work for both soil and coco?

Just one more question, does anyone know the ratio of coco to perlite?

i dont have any experience withe power nutes but i like botanicare.
you can use hydro nutes for soil, coco , or hydro. that is what i buy, in case i get the urge to build a system.

i have the pure blend pro hydro grow and bloom.
i mixed a handfull of worm castings to the top of each pot to get my seeds going in coco and perlite, then after like 2 weeks i started on a verry weak karma soloution 1-2mil a gallon then a week or 2 later i started the grow nutes at 1-2 mil a gallon with karma in the same amount.
on the first use of grow i had over an inch of growth over night.

tips for coco dont let it dry out it has poores that hold water and after it dries it they are full of nutes and it causes burn. also only feed 1-2 times a week but water almost everyday.
the lady at the hydro shop said to mix coco half and half with perlite for drainage.

so when you took the brick of coco you put just plain water on it? so no nutes at all while they vegged for the first two weeks?

the first post in my grow jornal cut and paste
i started by p/h'ing 4 gallons of water to 5.8- 5.9 (2 at a time), and expanding two sunleaves coir bricks, added apx. 4 quarts of perlite, and 2 liters of silica stone.
this filled 3 sunleaves 2 gallon grow bags.

i used worm castings , a handful per pot mixed in like 6 inches deep where a planted the seeds then top dressed with a 3 finger pinch per pot.

i did nute them once earlier and burnd them (i was going to leave that out )

wouldent the first 2weeks be seedling stage not veg?

you could prolly use a small amount of karma to expand with.

i just checked my jurnal and i waited 17 day from when they sprouted
they came up on the 10th and i nuted on the 17th with great resluts

i use the sane nutes with ffof soil. this is my first grow and its like ive been doing it for years.very good results so far
