I have a sprayer I recently purchased at Menards. Its a one gallon plastic sprayer. They have several, I bought the one thats about $8.00. In it I put one tablespoon of Neem Oil,costs about $20.00 for 8oz of pure neem, one tablespoon of liquid dish soap, about $2.00, and one gallon of water. Shake the shit out of it , pump it up and spray. Pay particular attention to the bottom of the leaves, this is where a lot of pests hide. Done once a week for preventive maintanance. To get rid of an infestation do it twice a week for two weeks, then the preventive cycle.
If you are in it for the long haul the investment is worth it. Do not use that sprayer for anything else. Its safe, neem oil is a plant derivative, and dish soap won't hurt you or your plants, its also a rule to mark insecticides.
If you are tight right now, go get any insecticide that says it kills what you think you have that contains Neem Oil, about $8.00, comes in a marked spray bottle, which you could reuse. VV |
